The Residence Club consists of only a handful scenic lots clustered in “La Vega de Campiglia”, the most exclusive and naturally beautiful part of the Altos del Maria gated community, bordering on the Maria river with its 5 miles (8 km.) of paved hiking paths, suspension bridges and waterfalls. Secure and tranquil Altos del Maria is located within 90 minutes, along the Pan-American Highway, from the modern metropolis of Panama City with its excellent hospitals, restaurants, theaters, banks and malls. Situated in the mountains at 2 000 ft. (600+ meters) of altitude, the climate is like having natural air-conditioning. Panama is outside the hurricane belt; malaria and yellow fever were vanquished when the Canal was built, and the Altos area is geologically stable. It is also close (25 minutes) to the golden Pacific beaches with modern shopping malls, three great golf courses, equestrian center and a top satellite hospital facility that can even do CT scans.
